The first batch of Google Apps refresher course for FY 2019-2020 in Chhukha Dzongkhag started off with sector heads and assistant sector heads today (06.08.2019). It's been almost five years since our Government started using G Suite for whole of government, yet many aren't be able to make use of all Apps besides gmail. This may be users are not well aware or not confident of using it.

Thus, with the objective to refresh on the usage and benefits of various apps in G Suite, to improve coordination, collaboration and communication within the sectors, between sectors, between sectors and gewogs/drungkhag and also aiming to minimise wastage of resources, the Dzongkhag ICT office has planned to conduct Refresher Course for all the G Suite users.

The program was very engaging as it included more of hands on exercises. With this refresher course, the sector heads are to develop individual working calendar (using G Suite), collaborate using G Docs, sheets, slides and drive. The bigger sectors are urged to conduct meetings with field staff through video conferencing to minimise travel cost. Dasho Dzongrab also participated in this half day program.
